Free Robux: the honest answer

No generator works, and the ones that claim to are collecting your password. What does work is a small set of legitimate routes — and knowing what Robux are actually worth before you spend anything.

Why read us first

  • We never link to a generator, a reward site or a “free Robux” app, because all of them are collecting something.
  • Every claim is checked against Roblox’s own published help pages and developer documentation, which we link.
  • The calculator runs in your browser and asks for nothing — no username, no login, no email.
  • We are independent and not affiliated with Roblox Corporation, and we say so on every page.
  • Every guide exists in twelve languages with its own URL, not a machine pop-up.
  • Nothing is behind a signup: no email wall, no locked chapters, no upsell.
If money has been lost or an account has been taken, say so — those go to the front of the queue.

Never send a password, a one-time code or account credentials — not to us, not to anyone. What you do send is never published and never shared.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a way to get free Robux?

Not from a generator, a website, an app or a code — none of those exist, and every site claiming otherwise is running a scam. The arithmetic makes it obvious: Robux cost real money to buy and convert back at a much lower rate, so nobody can afford to give them away, and the site is being paid in something else — your account credentials, ad revenue from the survey you complete, or a malware install. What does exist is a small set of legitimate routes: a Roblox Premium subscription includes a monthly Robux allowance, creators earn from selling passes and items and from engagement-based payouts, and Roblox occasionally runs official promotions. All of them go through Roblox itself.

How much do Robux actually cost?

It depends on the currency and the pack. In the United States the published packs run from 400 Robux at $4.99 up to 10,000 at $99.99, with the larger packs offering a better rate per Robux. Prices in other currencies are set separately rather than converted daily, so they drift from the dollar figure, and buying inside a mobile app costs more than buying on the web because the app store takes a cut. Our calculator shows the pack prices for twelve currencies alongside the cheapest combination for any amount you enter.

Are Robux generators dangerous, or just useless?

Both, and the danger is the point. The typical generator asks for your username to “connect”, then asks for the password or sends you to a page that looks like the Roblox login — which is a phishing page that captures the credentials. Others make you complete an offer or survey, which earns the operator money and often installs something. Some ask you to disable security features or hand over a one-time code, which defeats two-step verification. The Robux never arrive in any version, because there is no mechanism by which they could.

What should I do if an account has been hacked?

Move fast and in this order. Change the password from a device you trust; if you cannot log in, use the account recovery flow on Roblox’s own site. Enable 2-Step Verification. Check the account for linked email addresses or phone numbers you do not recognise and remove them. Review recent purchases and trades. Then contact Roblox Support through the official help site with the details. Do not use an account-recovery service you find in a search result or a video — those are a second scam aimed at people who have already been caught by the first.

Can I convert Robux back into real money?

Only as a creator, through the official Developer Exchange, and only under conditions: you need a Premium subscription, a minimum Robux balance, a verified account and to be over the minimum age. The rate is much lower than the purchase price — around 350 US dollars per 100,000 Robux — because the buying price includes Roblox’s margin and the payout does not. That gap is exactly why buying Robux to resell them makes no sense, and why anyone offering to “buy your Robux” outside the platform is either scamming you or breaking the terms of service, which usually ends with the account being banned.

What can parents actually control?

More than most parents realise. A parent PIN locks the account settings so they cannot be changed. Account restrictions limit the experiences a younger child can access. Chat and communication settings can be tightened or turned off entirely. Spending can be controlled by not linking a card at all and using gift cards instead, which caps the exposure to the value of the card. On the platform holder’s side, iOS, Android, Xbox and PlayStation all have their own purchase controls and password requirements. Our parents’ guides go through each of these with the current steps.
